DJ Priests

Virgin Radio has a proper estimate of the value and quality of clergy.

Two British radio DJs are being ordained as priests to perform a marriage ceremony in Las Vegas.

Virgin Radio breakfast duo Pete and Geoff are being specially ordained through the internet.

The radio station will pick out a couple to be flown to Las Vegas and married by the pair.

Radio DJs to be ordained as priests

Comments

I think it's great that the church is getting to luck worse all the time. It shows the true divineness of the church, when two DJs are going to be abel to be priests for some publicity stunt. But, who knows maybe it will make religion cool again (yeah...) GMAIL
re the previous comm-ent: But what has this to do with "the church"? Surely you know that there are bunches of "ordination mills" all over which will "ordain" anybody for a fee. This is no reflection on any church or religion at all. Be fair. This is no more a reflection on "the divineness of the church" than are degree mills which will grant you a pseudo-Ph.D. for a fee a reflection on the academic validity of Harvard or Oxford. You may have many good reasons to doubt the diviness of the church, but surely this case has absolutely nothing to do with the matter at all.
Well, that is odd. It seems the three letter word for more than one adult male humans is filtered out. I could not submit my comm-ent without putting that dash in. How odd. -- Sean, who, if you put me in a room with other adult male humans would be one of several m.e.n in the room.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about DJ Priests. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
